Attack Description Damage Evade Block Counter-Attack
Triple Peck The kut ku will leap towards you and peck at you/the ground 3 times. Low Roll to either sides or get underneath/behind him. Yes Attack the legs from the sides or behind or get some hits on the wings.
Fire Ball The kut ku will spit a small fireball at you. (Small range) Low Stay a descent distance away or roll to either sides. Yes. Attack the legs, get 1 hit on the head and roll away or attack the wings. (With a GS do a quick overhead strike on the wings or head and roll past the kut-ku)
Chicken Charge The Kut Ku will run towards you while swinging his head left and right spitting fireballs. low-medium. Sprint to either side and dive if necessary. Yes. Chase after the kut ku and if he does a double turn (2x 90 degrees) attack the tip of the wing and roll, if he turns slowly (he'll usually bite then) attack any point you want.
Quadruple fireball The Kut Ku will stand still and throw 4 fire balls in front and slightly to his sides. Low. Keep a descent distance or run/roll behind/underneath him. Yes. Attack any point but the head and neck.
Flying Charge When at a distance the Kut Ku will fly towards you and try to send you flying. Medium. Run to either side and roll. Yes. Chase the Kut ku to its landing spot after evading and attack him from the sides. If you use GS attack the head once while it's turning and roll away.
Tail Spin. The Kut Ku will make an about 170 degrees spin trying to hit you with its tail. (Can be done several times in a row) Low. Stay out of reach of the tail, roll away. Yes. Run along with the direction he turns and attack the wings, legs or head and roll along with the direction he turns if he does several tail spins or just roll out of reach of it's tail.
Normal Charge The Kut-Ku will stay still for a while with one of its legs making a pacing movement on the spot. If you are not too far for the flying charge then this is its most definite attack alongside the Chicken Charge. low-medium Sprint to either side and roll when you see it charging. Not before. If your too close then just hope you can block in time. Yes. Kicking it using SELECT on MHF seems to have proved useful from time to time as well as using the upwards hit with a greatsword.
