Required Skills.
High Grade Earplug is deffinately required.
Other power ups such as Reckless Abandon, Adrenaline (over-rated not recommended) and Attack up. For Blademasters ESP is a must have aswell as High Grade Earplug. (Akantor mail with sword saint piercing and some earplug jewells are what u need. I dunno if u can get both but you must have ESP for White Fatalis's "armour mode".
Bow
Weapon: Akantor Bow / Glorious Victory (which ever you have and whichever you prefer) Helm: Akantor Blademaster Helm Mail: Anything (gem 1 earplug jewell) Gauntlets: Hornet Guards U Tasset: Rathalos Soul U Boots: Akantor boots (gem reckless abandon in somewhere)
This armour set is relatively easy to obtain, well i already had the akantor parts but still. Full Rathalos Soul U is more recommended with the blade master helm for extra defense as the skills are the same. I will finish this guide another time so...you know...wait.
NiteShadeX Continuing where Ridleybear379 left off
Anyways, Any armor gemmed for high-grade earplugs and a more offensive skill will do fine. (I personally use Full Rathalos Soul U gunner and Feyline Heroics)
Start by quickly eating a Mega-Demondrug or Powertalon, as well as Mega/Powerjuice if you brought any. Be prepared to hide as White Fata will often start with either a lightning storm or perched lighting attacks.
First thing to go after is the wings, they take 2-3 flinches before they break, and Fata may go into his first rage mode before they are broken. Also, try to shoot his head whenever possible, but dont spend to much time standing in front of him as he may body slam without warning.
If White fatalis uses his lightning storm attack, stand by the foot on your left, right in front of the body, but run after 3-4 seconds to avoid possible body slams. Avid standing in Front of fatalis's left foot (your right) as he steps forward when using lightning, and even that does considerable damage to archers.
When Fatalis uses his perched lightning storm, the attack where he flees to the top of the tower, hide right next to the boulder that blocks your exit. I don't like the other spot (the one with dark ground) as sometimes lightning will strike there, often killing me as I prepare for my next onslaught.
Anyways, after breaking Fatalis's wings, its time to focus on the head, try to stand a Fatalis's body length away in case he body slams. At that distance he may try to shoot a lightning ball at your, quickly roll to the left or right when you see his head move in the appropriate manner. You can score an easy shot to the head right after he lobs the fireball.
Remember to break the head twice, once to break his horns, and again to scar his eye, It can take as many as 6-8 flinches to fully break his head, but its well worth it.
Lastly, focus on his body, a majority of your shots will hit it anyway so its most likely already broken. Breaking the body will cause large scarring, and weapon damage to this area is increased. Focusing on Fatalis's body and legs causes him to trip sideways; I actually killed my brother on accident by causing Fatalis to crush him. Thankfully if your soloing this should not be a problem unless your extremly close to him when he falls over.
After maybe 30 minutes of heavy combat, White Fatalis will be critically injured (hopefully). But sadly, this is when he's most annoying. Fatalis will stay in a constant state of either rage or armor mode and will even try to cause quest failure by spamming his aerial moves. This can quickly become annoying, but don't give up as the fight is almost over.
If all goes well Fatalis should bite the bucket. Try to start carving him even during his death throes, as you can carve his lower body, upper body, and head 3 times each, and this may take more than the minute of alotted time at the end of the quest. Also, if possible, carve the head first, as it may wield extra horns or even eyes, where as the body will mostly yield shell and scales.
Good Hunting, and may White Fatalis fall before the might of your bow!
