MHF2/MHFU: Great Sword / Long Sword Tree

The Wailing Cleaver Shin is often considered to be the best Thunder-Element Long Sword in MHFU. It is the final form in one of the several Iron Katana paths. It has a good amount of Raw damage, as well as Elemental damage. It also has high Sharpness, neutral Affinity and possesses a slot. Next to the ImperialThundersword, it has the highest Thunder-Element damage in MHFU.
It is rivaled by the GrtDemnHalberdRaksha, which has slightly more Raw damage and positive Affinity, but far less Elemental damage. However, the Wailing Cleaver Shin is generally considered the better of the two.
It requires materials from monsters all across the G-rank. It needs the rarest G-Lvl Ore and materials from G-rank Great Thunderbug, Kirin, and Rajang. It can be obtained, therefore, at HR9.
The cloth around the sheathe has the same color as the S/X/Z class armor (to be exact the Plate).
