Hello, and welcome... to Discussion of the Week: Sleep!
So we had Poison and Paralysis, so now it's time for Sleep Ailment. I bet you didn't see that coming eh? ...Anyways, back to the topic.
With a Sleep Weapon you can, well, put monsters to sleep. This is similar to Paralysis since it leaves monsters unable to do anything; but unlike Paralysis, they will wake up after one hit. However damage dealt to a sleeping monster is greatly increased. Who didn't love those Deviljho Sleepbombs in Tri?
Putting monsters to sleep is certainly great, but when it's the other way around, it can be a nightmare. And these guys don't know what the Sleep Clause means.
MHFU: An enormous, flightless, aquatic wyvern with wings that have evolved into fins for swimming. Although superficially fish-like, they can move on land as well. They love frogs.
MHFU: A large wyvern found in volcanic zones. They possess a fiery breath attack and the ability to emit a sleeping gas. They also have extremely hard scales that deflect most weapon attacks.
MHFU:A rust-colored bird wyvern with beautiful tail feathers found mainly in forests. A highly pacifistic wyvern by nature, it breathes sleeping gas on its enemies and prey alike. Its strong, developed legs pack a serious punch, so be careful!
MH3: Carnivorous bird wyverns like the Jaggi. Noted for their projecting cranial crests and bluish-white skin that's adapted to snow. Great Baggi craftily command other Baggi to surround their prey and stun them with a tranquilizing fluid.
MH4: Wait, we don't have a description for this guy... yet. But hey, you gotta admit he's pretty awesome.
