Monster Hunter 3 G - Possible Europe Localization?

Rumors from MH communities are circling around the net that the game Monster Hunter 3 G is getting a localization for Europe in Autumn 2012..

To make things interesting, one of our users have provided us a scan of this page from the UK Official Nintendo Magazine:

An estimate says at the Autumn of 2012 Europe would be getting a localization of Monster Hunter 3 G. Better something than nothing right?

The magazine scan is real and not edited.

As the news spread around the net, until we get a word from the Capcom Officials themselves, this does not confirm its release date nor the estimated time to be real.

So no, this does not mean it's sure to come out to Europe by Autumn 2012.

Is this a beacon of hope for our western MH fans? This is interesting. :D

question: I have seen that Deviljho's page shows that it can now visit the Mountain Stream. Is this new in Tri G or did we all somehow miss it in 3rd? I'd also like to know where this information was found, simply because I'm curious and want to read anything else from the source. =D

lol, you dó know that when i mean fear of heights im not serious, right? its not a true inability, its just really hard and takes a lot of valuable energy (it has to eat like.. every other hour?), and up in the mountains the air doesnt have enough oxygen for it to do tiring things.
^^^^^ = all busted, it just didn't find the mountain stream before 3G = ^^^^^

I just cant imagine how it can go mountain climbing with those T. Rex arms. He's just not built for it. The oxygen is an issue too.

ur right, but somehow dobo can do it (slighly larger arms but still clearly small), maybe his tail helps supporting him

Yeah, we've just got to assume that it somehow managed to find a slope up the Mountain Stream that wasn't too steep for him to climb. Doesn't seem too implausible.

deviljho is a pretty good digger, he can dig through solid ice in the tundra and stone in the D Island, idk if he digs in the volcano i kill him too fast xP

Never gonna happen, too late for a MHP3rd localisation now. Good for us western MH fans that capcom is switching to nintendo platforms. Western Sony platform owners just have no interest in MH games. Will sell much better on nintendo platforms here, so future localisation of games are more likely :)

This is all very exciting news, but I would prefer getting MHP3rd in Europe, because I don't have a 3DS and MHP3rd is in my opinion just better

I understand what you're saying about wanting P3rd, but why is it BETTER? So far, we've seen *almost* everything from P3rd and more for TriG, not to mention even more weapons that weren't present in P3rd OR Tri.

3D is pretty worthless in 3G...just like it is in every other 3DS game. 3G is local play only so don't forget to snatch some fun points because of that. I say it's going to take some convincing on Capcom's part for them to localize it. As much as us MH fans here in america like the series, it just isn't very popular in the general US public. Take the fail release of MH3 for example. Way back in the glory days of summer 2010, they had to have had at least 5 servers per area (Open, Rookie, etc;) and now, most of them were shut down due to the extreme lack of players. Don't get me wrong, I dream about this game at night, but until Capcom says it themselves, I would just stick with the facts you know are true.

As much as want to believe that this will really happen, I would take an enormous pinch of salt concerning this article. ONM has in recent years become a degenerate publication rife with hyperbole and spelling errors, as you can plainly see up there. While the article is indeed real, the time of release feels like it was plucked out of the air at random.

it is on the IGN network so it will about 85% chance it will come to U.S besides Europe and the WEst practically share every MH game, so i dont know why that would stop Capcom now...

There are non-MH Japanese games that got released on Europe but never for the US. So there's a small possibility that it won't be carried over to US shores, if MH3G does come to Europe.

We never got those games, infact I don't think any of the games that you mentioned got released outside of Japan, with the exception of Frontier. I checked too, anything that Europe got, USA got too.

the best part is that you will be able to swim under water that 3rd didn't have that and some new monster that about it probably more subspecies monster hunter with new attacks
