Hello and welcome to....Discussion of The Week: Ecology Videos !!!!!
On this blog we are going to discuss Monster Hunter's wonderful ecology videos. Whenever they're not being harassed by hunters these creatures behave no differently than the animals of our world. So its a good thing that Capcom decided to show the more natural aspect of this series. Lets take a look at how these creatures go about their daily lives.
|Title||MHG: Diablos Ecology|
Here we take a look at the kings of the Desert....or perhaps queens since female Diablos are larger. Either way these titans brutally pound eachother with their massives horns and tails for food and territory in their desolate habitat. Ouch!!! That tail strike was brutal.
Its a beautiful night and everything is peaceful until an uninvited guest shows up. I really love this video since all our electrical friend Zinogre has to do is just walk through an area and all the inhabitants scatter like roaches when the lights come on !!! Even the Arzuros flees when the ruler of the Misty Peaks makes his dominant appearance.
Well looks like someone has been learning some crocodile ambush tatics, not surprising since Plesioth eats giant ones. I sure feel bad for that Aptonoth though.....naw I'm just kidding LoL !!!
|Title||MHFU Akantor Ecology|
This is undoubtedly the most famous ecology video in the series. Who would've ever thought that the supreme amor wyvern Gravios had a natural predator !!!! The wyvern's most powerful weapon was utterly useless against Akantor and man oh man was that kill brutal or what ??
|Title||Qurupeco Ecology Video|
I find this video the most amusing of the third generation. Its interesting to see how Qurupeco use their excellent mimicry skills in order to get their way with other animals. That should teach those pesky Jaggi a lesson they'll never forget, although that Qurupeco should definitely leave before a real Rathian/Rathalos shows up.....
Ahh, now this is my favorite out of all the ecology videos. Here we see two apex predators in a battle for supremacy and both show of their skills quite well. The Brachydios simply shruggs off the Agnaktor's heat beam (although its momentum shoved it back quite a distance) and the leviathan shows surprising speed and agility. However it made a bad decision by making it a close quarters fight and if you thought the Akantor kill was brutal this is just downright murder !!!!!!
