Hey hey, I'm known as Elite on any of the Monster Hunter games I play. My first experiences of Monster Hunter were on the PSP with Freedom Unite. I picked it up with another friend to play with, and the fact that it looked tons of fun! At first I enjoyed it, then I didn't and traded my copy off, the friend just didn't care anymore overall...oh don't worry the sad part is over with lol. Later (few months later), I met a few other people that really loved the series and it made me want to give it another shot. Suddenly the game was TONS more enjoyable and I just really love it! Having friends to talk with and play with on this series makes up a little more than half of the fun in my opinion. Sharing funny stories or ways of taking out the most lethal of monsters you could imagine. Ever since then I haven't missed a single bit of Monster Hunter news on this wiki, and I follow the series quite strongly. Every new announcement gives me excitement about what new challenges (or cheats on the monster's part [...Plesi >_<]) to look forward to and overcome! Monster Hunter is not the only game I play, I play alot of different games and genres, but I don't have time for all that right now lol.

Weapon PreferencesEdit

The very first weapon I picked up upon playing were the Dual Swords. They were pretty enjoyable for the noobie I once was before, the simple primace of just...attacking and no blocking was an incentive for me. My second go around, I used the Bow and it has stuck with me ever since...call it a signature weapon if you will. In FU, I used it for everything...quite literally! It wasn't until around the Nargacuga encounters in the guild that I started experimenting with other weapons to see what I enjoyed, and the Longswords were now my secondary weapons! Its a style thats just for me, its not too slow and not very very fast either; the spirit combo system is quite unique, especially with Tri to put in a power boost so to speak. Since Tri, I have had a third weapon I often use, the Switch Axe! The uniqueness of how it could transform into another weapon was what got my attention. I was worried about it being tremendously slow, but its surprisingly not bad; the sword half of it all is quite strategic with the vials each weapon has. I have a "fun weapon" choice, which I found out after doing training missions on Portable 3rd, and its a Hunting Horn. What screams more entertaining than hitting the most revered of all monsters with a giant horn [from band camp LOL].

Monster FavoritesEdit

Not too much to say here instead of give a list of some favorites I have. Jinouga is the most favorite of them all! The way it fights is certainly unique out of any monster I've seen, and the way it goes through its charged and rage states (like stages) is so creative. The Lagiacrus is another fav, because of it being the first of its kind...a Leviathan! Fighting it underwater is quite a pain sometimes, but its quite an experience for sure.
