| Dig and Resurface | Ukanlos digs underground, then resurfaces moments later. Causes quake around it. | Try to run away and dodge. | None, you cannot possibly hit it. | High + defense loss(1/2) |
| Underground Swim | Ukanlos digs underground, leaving its carapace protruding the surface, then swims around to hit hunters with its edges of the carapace. | Try to run away and dodge. Be not very close but neither too far. When it starts to swim run as fast as you can and do the panic dive. | It is possible to stagger it while it is swimming but it is not common. | Very High + defense loss(1/2) |
| Uppercut Shovel | Ukanlos tilts its head back and shovels its chin into the ground ahead of it, then "rips" upward, tossing snow. The snow will divide in 2 snowballs, and they will fall: in front of it, or to its feet. | Dodge to the side of its head. If blocking, don't do it right in front; dodge as much as you can and then block. | Go under it and hit its belly. | High + snowman (if hit by the snow). |

| Pseudowyvern Bite | Rears its head back and tries to bite the hunter. | Get away from its head. | Attack any other body part, after getting away from its head. | Medium/High |
| Ice Beam | Launches an ice beam at hunters that causes chunks of ice to fly up and hit the hunter. If standing in front of Ukanlos, the beam may hit the positioning hunter. In the normal state, the ice chunks will fly straight up and hit the ground after a while, but in Rage Mode it is best not to stand beside the beam as the chunks now fly horizontally away from the beam and are harder to dodge. Ukanlos will let out a subtle growl before shooting the beam, allowing hunters to know when to throw a Sonic Bomb. | Get to the side, behind it or under its jaw. | Attack away from its head or throw a Sonic Bomb at the beginning of this attack. | If hit by the beam, 1 hit KO. If hit by the ice, Very High + snowman. |
| Tail Drag | Ukanlos' body faces its right, it raises its tail and drags it about 150 degrees to the right. Likely to do this twice when in Rage mode. | Go under its body, or follow its head, or stay far. | Hit its head | High + snowman if hit by the top of the tail. |
| Pseudo-wyvern Lunge | A huge jump that covers a lot of area. Hunters will see it coming. | Move away from the front of its body and its right side when behind it, as the tail can still smack you as it lands. | None | High, even if not direct. |
