The Lone Black Garuga

This quest features the Yian Garuga, a Purplish version of the Kut-Ku.

It has 2400 HP. (CREDITS TO Furnaps of Neoseeker)

If your weapon has a 400 attack, that DOES NOT mean it will kill it in 6 hits.

A Devil Slicer, (720 ATK, 450 THUNDER) will do a 32 damage Average on the Garuga, so don't expect to go in there and kill him in 2 minutes with a Iron Katana.

First off, he will usually start in Area 3. Paint him first, then go in. His attacks are similar to a Kut-Ku, expect for:

Fire Beam I- Shoots 1 fireball, powerful, longrange

Fire Beam III- Shoots 3 fireballs, powerful, shortrange.

Poison Flip- A Rathian attack, he will flip over, and if you get hit, you will be poisoned.

Go for the tail first. It will shorten the range of his tail whip, and the range of his poison flip.
