-Ammo for Bowgun/Gunlance

This section newcomers should read.

-Potions can be obtained from the Village Seller, who will sell them.

-Herbs can also be obtained from the Village Seller.

-Rations and First-Aid Med can be obtained from the Blue Item Box on your quest.

-Prtbl Shock Trap and Tranq Bombs also can be obtained from Blue Box.

Some Ammo also can be obtained for Bowgun/Gunlance.

[edit] Strategies

First Time on this quest- Take the necessary items and head to Area 6. You will see a cutscene of Giadrome coming,which will be shown in the Gallery section after this quest,whether you've cleared it or not.

[edit] Strategy 1: Swords and Shields or Dual Swords

Recommended Equipment:

Any Sword can be used.

For Dual Swords/Sword and Shields, you should be able to run in and keep slashing. Slash only 2-3 times, then quickly roll away with X to the other side of the Velocidrome. Try not to stay in front of it, and attack its hind legs. If you are in front of it, roll out of the way or walk.

Rations for Dual Swords are recommended, so your stanima wont go low. A high stamina is required for a long time in Demonization Mode.

[edit] Strategy 2: Hammers or Hunting Horns

What to bring:

• Mega Nutrients x2
• Potion x10
• Hot Drink x5
• Well Done Steak x3
• Flash Bomb x5
• Bomb Material x10
• Flashbug x10
• Combo Books
• Powercharm(if you've it)
• Armorcharm(if you've it)
• Psychoserum x3

Procedure:

• 1)Boost your health to the maximum using the Mega Nutrients and fill up your added HP using 2 Potions or rest in your camp to boost your health.
• 2)Eat a Well Done Steak and get out of Base Camp
• 3)Go through areas 1,4,5 and finally to Area 6(if this is your 1st time doing this quest,you don't need Psychoserums)
• 4)If Giadrome is not in Area 6,use your Psychoserums to find it
• 5)When it sees you,it will make a prey call.Throw a Flash Bomb in front of it
• 6)Go towards it and do the triple triangle smash(for both Hammer and Hunting Horn users)
• 7)If you've KO it while it is affected by your Flash Bomb,that's good!Smash it more using the triple triangle smash.
• 8)If the KO effect wears off,throw another Flash Bomb in front of it and continue smashing it until it dies.If it escapes to another area,follow it quickly.

[edit] Strategy 3: Longswords

Recommended weapons: Any longsword can be used.

For the longsword,try to attack it when you have a chance to till you fill up the spirit bar.Kill the other giapreys and proceed to set a portable shock trap.Execute a full spirit charge combo which will deal a lot of damage to the giadrome.

[edit] Strategy 4: Greatswords

Recommended weapon:Any greatsword can be used.

For the greatsword,use the combo triangle,circle then press triangle and circle together and press x to roll away if the giadrome attacks. Try to kill the other giapreys since they will be annoying if you don't take them out quickly.If you have a portable shock trap,it's time to use it.When the giadrome is shocked,do a charge up triangle attack.

[edit] Strategy 5: Lance or Gunlance

Recommended gunlance: Any gunlance can be used.

I always have prefered the Gunlance over the lance but its the same idea, guard often when useing the gun lance shoot when u see and opening. Dont be greedy although its an easy fight being careless and rushing in can cause death. Shock trap and Fire it up not much esle to it

What to bring:

• Mega Nutrients x2
• Potion x10
• Well Done Steak x3
• Hot Drink x3
• Psychoserum x3
• Powercharm(if you've it)
• Armorcharm(if you've it)
• Flash Bomb x5
• Bomb Material x10
• Flashbug x10
• Combo Books
• Accessible coatings(as many as you can)

Procedure:

• 1)Take out only the Map from the blue supply box
• 2)Boost your HP using your Mega Nutrients and fill up your added HP with 2 Potions or resting.
• 3)Eat a Well Done Steak and get out of the Base Camp
• 4)Go through areas 1,4,5 and finally to Area 6.After you've entered Area 4,drink a Hot Drink.If this is your 1st time doing this quest,psychoserums are not needed.
• 5)If you cannot find Giadrome in Area 6,use the Psychoserums to find it
• 6)When it turns to see you,throw a Flash Bomb in front of it and fill your bow with arrow coatings,particularly power coatings
• 7)Charge up the power of your arrows and shoot at Giadrome.If the KO effect wears off,put back your bow and throw another Flash Bomb in front of it to put it in KO mode once again,and continue shooting arrows at it from there until it dies.If you've run out of Flash Bombs,make some more by combining Bomb Material with Flashbug.If your Stamina gets low,eat a Well Done Steak.If the heating effect has expired,drink another Hot Drink to keep you hot and flaming.

[edit] Strategy 7: Bowgun

Recommended light bowguns:Shotgun(Azure),Shotgun(Blood)

What to bring:

• Mega Nutrients x2
• Potion x10
• Well Done Steak x3
• Hot Drink x3
• Psychoserum x3(if this is your 1st time doing this quest,you don't have to bring Psychoserums)
• Flash Bomb x5
• Bomb Material x10
• Flashbug x10
• Combo Books
• Powercharm(if you've it)
• Armorcharm(if you've it)
• Accessible ammo

Procedure:

• 1)Take out Map only from the supply box
• 2)Boost your HP using these items in the following order:Mega Nutrients,Mega Nutrients,Potion,Potion
• 3)Eat a Well Done Steak and go to Area 4
• 4)In Area 4,drink a Hot Drink and go to Area 6
• 5)At Area 6,if there is no sight of Giadrome,use the Psychoserums to find it
• 6)When Giadrome turns to see you,throw a Flash Bomb in front of it
• 7)Load your bowgun and fire away!
• 8)If the KO effect expires,throw another Flash Bomb in front of Giadrome
• 9)Continue firing bullets at the snow lizard until it dies.If your Stamina gets low,eat a Well Done Steak.If the heat in your body vanishes,drink a Hot Drink.If you're out of Flash Bombs,make some more by combining Bomb Materials with Flashbugs.
