Ceanataur Icon
A large Carapaceon with a giant monster's skull on its back. Its long, sharp pincers allow it to pierce volcanic bedrock and travel along ceilings. Sometimes, a precious and valuable pearl can be found inside it's shell.

A Shogun Ceanataur whose strange diet has changed its color to a reddish-orange, Terra Shogun Ceanataur is a Carapaceon that can be considered a Subspecies by some.

Habitat Range

Terra Shogun Ceanataur are found in Swamp and the Volcano.

Ecological Niche

Terra Shoguns are high up in the food-chain. Few monsters are powerful enough to prey on them, although weak, young, or old individuals may sometimes find themselves at risk from more powerful predators such as Teostra, Lunastra, Lavasioth, Akura Jebia, and Abiorugu.

Biological Adaptions

Unlike Shogun Ceanataur, it has a harder shell that is said to be sharper and more pronounced with a reddish color to go with it. Terra Shogun Ceanataur has sharp claws like a normal Shogun Ceanataur, though the claws are noticeably softer and weaker. It is unknown why that is though its diet maybe apart of it. It also seen that Terra Shogun Ceanataur are quite agile compared to normal Shogun Ceanataur.

Behavior

Far more aggressive and offensive than a normal Shogun Ceanataur, Terra Shogun Ceanataur are known to go through great lengths in order to kill a foe quickly and effectively.
