Tartaronis can be considered to be the top predator of the Moonlands, even beyond any near food chain. It is able to feed on just about anything including Cephalos, Apceros, and even monsters such as Monoblos and Akura Vashimu.

Biological Adaptions

Tartaronis is able to swim in the sand and fly into the air. It is able to swim in the sand by using its powerful flippers. To fly, Tartaronis uses hot air produced inside its body to hover in the air before using its flippers to maneuver itself in the air. These flippers can even produce powerful tornadoes and sand storms. On its back are spines used for deflecting attacks from potential threats and for cutting up prey at close range. Tartaronis can also shoot the spines from their back, using them as weapons from a distance away.

Tartaronis are aggressive feeders that will eat anything they come across, even going as far as eating objects surrounding the prey item. From this it was put on the dangerous monster list.
