Chapter 1: The Hunter From Kokoto Village
The sunshine leaks in through the window, illuminating the room. The hunter quickly wakes up to sunlight, stretching his arms out to relax his muscles for a good day ahead. He jumps off the bed to find his pig still asleep. The hunter walks towards his table, grabbing his armor and the Hunter’s helm and sets it readily on his head and continues into the kitchen area of his cabin. There, he finds his trusted Felyne worker, Kane, preparing his favorite breakfast meal: war wheat toast!. The hunter gobbles down the toast and looks at the cat and says, “Are the preparations complete?” The cat looks down and responds with a hint of hesitation. “Yes, but master? Is the quest really necessary?” The hunter gets up, turns away and heads toward the door. He pauses and says, “You have until this afternoon to finish packing before we go.” He then walked out, leaving the cat in the kitchen alone. The hunter exits his cabin and heads towards the guild located at the center of Kokoto Village. Upon arrival, he is stopped by a young female hunter by the name of Lynn. “Today’s the day isn’t it? The day you finally go on your hunters test! this is finally the day you get to see the outside world, slaying all types of beasts.” The hunter looked down with a smile on his face and says, “Yep, today’s the start of a new life for me and Kane.” The hunter looks back and sees Kane with a backpack stacked 5 ft tall in tote on his back. Looking back towards Lynn, he asks her “While I’m gone, do you think you can look after my pig Fufu?” The girl responds with excitement, “I"ve always wanted a pet! Of course I can.” The hunter than bids her farewell and enters the hunters guild.
Chapter 2: The Guild And The Hunters Test
As the hunter walked into the Guild, he was surrounded by a dense cloud of smoke, waving his hand in front of him to block him from inhaling too much of it. He enters another room in which he discovers hundreds of hunters from surrounding villages. He bypasses them all and goes to the counter. The guild lady comes up and inquires, “Can I help you sir?” and the hunter responds “Yes I’m here for my hunters test”. The Guild Lady responds in a sweet tone “Ah, Yes you must be Cyan, I been waiting for you.” She then hands him the parchment with a request fund. “You have to pay 5,000 zeni to partake in this quest,” Cyan then reaches into his pouch taking out the requested zeni. The guild lady then grabs the money and nods with a smile she was very pleased to see that the hunter was ready for his journey. The Hunter leaves the guild only to find a small man with a long pipe outside as if he was waiting for the hunter’s arrival, “This Journey by no means is an easy task, but…it must be done.” Cyan smiles with determination “I will be a hunter known amongst all lands, I give you my word.” The elder smiles slightly “Go and prove your worth.” Cyan looks back towards his village taking his last glimpse as memories of his youth flashes quickly through his mind turns head and takes off for his journey. As the village fades slowly into the distance he takes out the contract. The Contract States that he has to receive 4 village passes, 1 from each village as follows, Pokke, Jumbo, Aamaaya, and lastly Kokoto, the contract also states that if the items are obtained the hunter will receive 100,000 zeni and also receive the four elder weapons, He puts his contract back in his pouch and sets his eyes to the forest off in the distance, he heard from fellow hunters a Kut-Ku had been roaming in this area. Cyan hunted a Yian Kut-Ku before so it brought no concern towards the hunter, he reaches the entrance of the forest the trees hang over his helmet, a staggering shadow casts over his body the sun was nowhere to be seen in this area of the forest, he takes out a torch to brighten his path. He hears rustling to his right in a nearby bush, it catches his attention only turning out to be a mosswine searching for some mushrooms, he continues even deeper into the forest and reaches a portion with barely any trees, and a tide of sunlight flowing into the middle, he spots the remains of what looked to be a hunters camp torn and destroyed, a rotten carcass laid in the camp, from the looks might be the remains of a kelbi, probably the hunters dinner. He than hears the leaves of the tree begin to rustle , Cyan spots a set of eyes glaring out of the darkness, than reaches for his long sword the “Iron Katana Grace” a blue blur streaks towards him, it’s a velociprey a raptor like creature, he quickly reacts rolling to the right, causing the raptor to completely miss his target, Cyan gets up and readies himself for the next attack, at that moment a second blur shoots from the same direction, the hunter than quickly realizes its an ambush, the velociprey leaps into the air going in for the kill, Cyan ducks in one swift motion he slices the velociprey thrusting his blade deep into the raptors chest cavity and continues going down opening the carnivores body, falls and makes its final growl into its death, the other velociprey charges Cyan regains his stance and slashes vertically at the carnivore ending the battle, only to hear more noise he turns to face the noise, a white cat appears from the bush and to Cyans surprise its Kane, “Master are you ok?” says the feyline “I had to retrieve some items from the cabin I had forgotten, and when I came back the elder informed me you had set out towards the forest.’ Cyan puts the blade away after cleaning off the tip, “Kane I told you a thousand times call me Cyan not master, and by the way im fine. Kane go search the camp for useable items.” Kane smiles happy to hear his master is safe, he runs towards the camp for any thing of value. Cyan looks around the open area, looks towards the sky and sees a shadow drift past the sun, Kane quickly notices this and looks towards his master awaiting further orders. “Kane lets go, that’s enough we need to keep moving” said Cyan facing towards the shadows direction. They quickly retreat to the darkness of the forest. They light there torches and continue through the forest, spotting a glimpse of light in the distance, they continue walking as the distance between them and the light becomes less and less. They put the torches away followed by a cool breeze coming from the source of light, they had reached the end of the forest, only to see a plain with grass as far as the eye can see. They had finally reached THE FOREST AND HILLS… Cyan covers his face to guard from the rays of light being produced from the hot sun, Kane than tugs on his armor, Cyan looks down at Kane only to see Kane pointing towards a lake, Cyan looks up, quickly ducking down. Just as he had suspected, a Kut-Ku at the bank drinking water. Kane takes out his mini long sword and awaits for his masters orders, Cyan waits for the Kut-Ku to be completely calm, and waits for it to turn its back to them. At that point the Kut-Ku turns, exposing its backside giving Kane the signal, The cat then charges at the Kut-Ku getting into range, Kane throws a paintball marking the Kut-Ku, and then Cyan takes out a circular device with an arrow pointing at the Kut-Ku, the arrow points at the paintball on the Kut-Ku as if attracted by a magnetic force. The Wyvern than roars, the sound wave rattles the armor with so much force Cyan was forced to cover his ears, Cyan than notices the Kut-Ku to be the same Wyvern in which he fought before and had escaped from him, the scar he had left on the Kut-Ku’s right wing had just about healed. Cyan takes out his sword and readies himself for the battle.

It's not mandatory, so you can remove it if you really hate it, but it would be appreciated if you didn't :). You can change the links to point to any other wikia wikis you like or cooperate with. For the Love of Christ can someone tell me where go get power seed feel like shooting myself its pissing me off!
the old [lady] near the guild hall sells power and armour seeds.

wow i was just playing mhf2 on my psp and i happened to notice somthing but im not sure whether its true, i went against a lao-shan lung using a bow gun and made it flee then went against a black fatalis and killed it using the exact same equipment. so tell me, is fatalis weaker then lao-shan lung?
Azure Lao has 26666 HP while Regular Lao has 23333 HP.personaly i think the fatta is weaker but then again the fatta has more weak points that are more accessable with bowguns the wings and chest are pretty weak to the clust bullets Evilmarth666 15:16, 18 August 2008 (UTC)evilmarth666

I need a good dragon type weopon to defeat Teostra i am a sword and sheild guy but anything to kill the dragon

I'm planning on making a Monster Hunter World Map for my Fanfic. Since other people write Fanfics and come up with new areas and towns tell me if you want some new areas and towns from your fanfic. The map image was taken from the monster hunter encyclopedia, the location's names either exist or they were made up by me. Link to actual image

[edit] Hughston, I have a problem.
I just started playing the first Monster Hunter again, and so far, I'm on the three star missions, but for some reason, I can't upgrade or create any weapons. I have absolutley no idea what the hell is going on. I have the materials, I have the money, but for some reason, it won't allow me to make what I want. If anyone knows what the hell is going, please help. ANd if I'm supposed to do something before I can upgrade, than please tell me. It's been a long while since I've played the first btw. Yes. I am 100% sure of my problem. I don't know if I can show a screenshot of my problem. I deleted the game data for one thing, and I don't really know HOW to get pictures of the games on here. Except for the generic form of taking a pic and uploading it to the comp. But I still don't even know how to do that. EclipticKnightV 12:16, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey, we just started up a wiki for Monster Hunter Frontier (Korea/Japan) over at http://mhfo.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_Frontier_Wiki
We were probably going to take a lot of information from here, and the Japanese MHFO wiki, but I wanted to try and recruit some help from over here in filling our wiki up to ease the language barrier issues.
