Size
From Monster Hunter Wiki
Size is the term used to dictate how big or small a monster is. Monster sizes are capable of being small, normal, or big. The new size system was first incorporated into Monster Hunter Freedom, where, in the hunter's card, shows the smallest and largest size of all the monsters they defeated. If they are of great size, a small crown will be placed next to the name of the monster in the hunter's card; depending on its size, largest monsters will receive gold crowns, while large monsters will receive silver crowns.
Subspecies are not included in this list.
