Sandstone Basarios is a Lone Species of Basarios that has moved to the desert. Its reason for moving to the desert is unknown.
Habitat Range
Sandstone Basarios has only been seen inhabiting the Thunderous Sands.
Ecologial Niche
Sandstone Basarios is in the middle of the food chain, feeding on sandstone and Neopterons. It has to compete with Chramine, Gendrome, and Tigrex.
Biological Adaptions
Sandstone Basarios have many of the same adaptions as Basarios, however, there is a few differences between them. Unlike Basarios, Sandstone Basarios appearance has changed due to it feeding on sandstone and living in the Thunderous Sands. Now it resembles the rocks found in the environment, even matching the same temperature as them. From its change in climate, the bacteria it once produced is gone for the most part. It now can't produce any fire-based attacks, however, this has been replaced with it producing and breathing sand at foes. It can even still produce poisonous and coma-inducing gases.
Behavior
Sandstone Basarios is far more aggressive than Basarios.
