Rhenoplos are herbivores first appearing in Monster Hunter Tri. Similar to the previous Bullfango, the Rhenoplos are highly aggressive and tend to charge any hunters they may hear, as their vision is lacking.
Rhenoplos is a favorite prey for Agnaktor at the Volcano but is also popular as food in the Sandy Plains, where the Sand Barioth and Nibelsnarf prey on it. Like the Apceros, their eggs are highly prized by Hunters. If a Rhenoplos runs into a pillar, it will be stunned for a few seconds.
