The Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is a large, purple Carapaceon that inhabits the desert. It is a Daimyo Hermitaur color variant that wears a Diablos skullshell instead of a Monoblos skullshell. It is featured in the Japanese game Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Unlike its red counterpart, the Plum Daimyo Hermitaur is weaker to the Ice element, rather than Thunder. The horns on its shell can be broken, just like a Diablos.
