Mountain Herb Picking

This is generally the first quest in this game, so it's pretty easy to figure out.

First, head over to the blue box in the camp site, press circle, and collect the items given to you. Since this is an easy quest, you probably won't need most of them unless you feel like goofing off. Wander around a bit, kill some popo and anteka (popo sometimes drop 'Popo tongues' which are treasure and sell for some money, while anteka's occasionally drop 'White Liver'. Popo tongues sell for 45z, and White Liver sell for 100z at the end of the quest, and they also give you the same number of pokke points) search for herbs and other things and cook some meat on the handy spit if you feel like it. You do have fifty minutes after all.

When you are ready to search for the mountain herbs, head up to section five first. Near the exit to section six (look at your map) you will see some funky shoot like plants growing on both sides of the exit, both of which yield mountain herbs.

You can find more mountain herbs in section six growing on a ledge directly to your right upon entering from section five. Another plant in section six (behind a big icicle to your left after entering from section five) does not have any mountain herbs at all, so don't get confused.

If you cross from section six to section seven, you will see a plant growing in front of you on the cliff face. This is the only plant in section seven, and luckily it gives mountain herbs.

From section seven, head up on your map to section eight (if you head down, you will see a broken down campsite that yields some interesting items but is not important in any way to your quest). From here simply walk foreword and you will see a plant to your left that does give mountain herbs. Keep walking foreword as if you're heading back into section six, but DON'T GO YET. Instead, hug the wall on your left. Eventually you will crouch down all of a sudden- a secret hole in the wall! Walk through and you will drop down on top of another plant, that also gives mountain herbs. If you are worried about getting back out of here, just keep walking foreword. There are some little ledges you have to climb, followed by one medium sized cliff face. Climb it to the top. On your right you will see a gigantic frozen dragon, which, if you have a pick ax, you can mine from a crack in his foreleg. Kind of gross, but whatever. On your left, you will find another larger cliff face that you can climb, but there isn't really anything of interest up there. Instead, just hop down the other side of the cliff (the one with the dragon) any you will land back on top of the first plant you saw in section eight. Once you have enough mountain herbs, head back to your camp site and turn them in (by pressing circle at the red box) for your reward.

Hint: If you'd like a bit of extra cash from this quest besides just from the Popo Tongues and White Livers, then collect more than five Mountain Herbs before you turn in the quest. You can carry up to twenty Mountain Herbs at a time, and there are plenty of places to find them here. If you really want to make more money (though not much more) you can collect four mountain herbs and turn those in first. Then go back and collect twenty more, and turn them all in. You'll get nineteen extra mountain herbs turned in, instead of just fifteen! For every extra mountain herb you turn in, you get 50z and 50 pokke points.
