- Returning 1st Generation monsters are Felyne, Melynx, Aptonoth, Kelbi, Rathalos, Rathian and Diablos.
- The only Returning 2nd Generation monster is Popo.
- 27 new monsters are in the game; 12 Small monsters and 15 Large Monsters.
- 2 New Neopterons: Bnahabra and Altaroth.
