Jungle environments have appeared in every Monster Hunter game to date. They are generally areas of neutral temperatures and are highly abundant in natural resources. Thick vegetation can lower visibility in some areas, making fights more challenging for the hunter. Most Jungle regions are home to a series of underground caves. More often than not, a Hot Drink is required to traverse these areas to avoid the stamina-sapping cold.
Jungles are home to a wide range of monster types, such as Velociprey, Rathian, Yian Kut-Ku, Daimyo Hermitaur, and Congalala, to name a few. Certain Elder Dragons, like Kushala Daora and Chameleos, can sometimes be found in these areas as well.
The jungles are very rich in resources, and many hunters flock to these areas in search of valuable ores and rare bugs.
