A Subspecies of Jhen Mohran introduced in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Much like the regular Jhen Mohran it inhabits the Great Desert and is fought in a similar manner, though the order of the attacks and movements the subspecies performs is completely different. For example, while the regular Jhen Mohran surfaces on the right side of the ship and throws rocks, Hallowed Jhen Mohran immediately starts with a frontal ram attack from the right.
Hallowed Jhen Mohran is capable of the new attack also performed by the G-Rank Jhen Mohran in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate; expelling a jet of sand from its mouth.
This subspecies of Jhen Mohran is slightly bigger than its original monster. It is also colored differently, with a deep violet ore covering its body as opposed to the sandy Jhen Mohran. The fight with Hallowed Jhen Mohran also takes place in a darker-themed desert, giving off the appeal that it is cloudy or at least becoming evening.
One of each monster needs to be hunted (except for Lucent Nargacuga, Abyssal Lagiacrus, and Savage Deviljho) in order for the quest to become available.

- Always keep the Ballista Binder ready at the start of the quest as it will charge the ship on the right side.
- Make sure your health is close to full when you're on its back. The damage it deals is close to 3/4 of the max HP bar when it flips you off its back.
- The Dragonator can be used once in the first half of the fight and 3 times in the final showdown.
- Many Hallowed Jhen Mohran materials can be obtained by mining its back, including Shard, Rockskin and Ghostly Quartz.
