Gasurabazura is Brute Wyverns first introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier G8.

Physiology

Gasurabazura is poisonous Brute Wyverns with brown scales and light skin tone underbellies. On their faces, Gasurabazura has purplish scales one on their chins, a pair of big canine teeth and one pair of big tusks with two pairs of smaller ones near them, a mouth full of sharp teeth, and a pair of downward folded brown frills. Unlike most Brute Wyverns, Gasurabazura is equipped with a white pinkish webbed club-like tail that has long purple tip light brown spikes. Similar to Brachydios, Gasurabazura has a pair of long, highly developed forelimbs with a pair of three light brown spikes with purple tips on them. On the top of their heads through tails, Gasurabazura contains a downward sail with purple tips on them as well on the talons of their feet. They also have a pair of downward sail on their hips which connect to their tail. Lastly, Gasurabazura has a pair red eyes with black slit pupil in them.

When enraged, Gasurabazura highly developed forelimbs and club-like tail will grow bigger. Gasurabazura pair of downward folded brown frills will be unfolded upwards to show the inside of them which are a white purplish color. Their downward sails will flare up and the pores throughout their bodies will release steam.

Notes


  • Its head, arms, back, and tail can be broken and then severed.
  • It is capable of trapping Hunters in the ground by stomping on the ground and creating a small pool of quicksand, similar to the effects of a Pitfall Trap.
    • It can also create poisonous quicksand pools when it burrows underground.
  • It can be trapped in the ground by luring it into a pool of quicksand, similar to a Pitfall Trap.
  • Gasurabazura's roar requires HG Earplugs to block.
  • It can use its tail in an attempt to stun hunters by performing a 360 spin, if it is successful, it'll follow up the spin by lobbing some poison at the immobilized hunter/s.
  • It has a distinct move for entering and exiting rage mode that it will always perform. When entering rage mode, it pumps blood into its arms and tail and creates a shockwave with its roar that deals damage to everything nearby. When exiting rage mode, it runs to a certain spot in the area and digs, creating a sand pillar surrounded by pools of quicksand. It will then jump to the top of the pillar and then launch itself as a hunter.
    • When enraged, Gasurabazura will stop using poison attacks until it exits its rage mode.
  • It drops a shiny if it is knocked over by a landslide in Area 1 of the White Lake.


  • HC Gasurabazura's roar requires Super HG Earplugs to block.
