I apologize,i forgot one thing,monsters would not notice you as easily(save monsters with heightened senses) allowing you to gather in field data as well as monsters fighting/hunting one another(giaprey hunting popo,deviljho fighting diablos for food)or monsters caring for one another(wounded or babys) and threw this your monster encyclopedia gets updated,you can update it further through testing different weapons and tools on monsters as well,It gives a sense of "behavioral realism" to the game's monsters.Now this is the real conclusion ...I hope
