The Super Smash Bros. series is a Party Fighting game series that pits several of Nintendo's biggest stars against one another in an all out brawl. The series saw its start on the Nintendo 64, and each of their major consoles released have gotten their own iteration. Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, and Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
Relationship with the Monster Hunter Series[]
Nintendo made a collaboration with Monster Hunter.
Super Smash Bros. 4[]
As part of a collaboration with Nintendo, Monster Hunter Armor Sets appear in Super Smash Bros. 4 as costumes for the games customizable Mii Swordfighters.
The armor sets that appear are the Hunter's Blademaster armor while wielding the Hunter's Knife, and the Rathalos Blademaster armor while wielding the Blazing Falchion.

The Rathalos appears as an Assist Trophy, as well as a boss in a stage that resembles the Ancestral Steppe.
