Fight starts @ 1:18 Mysterious Forest Quest (High Rank)
A viewer from my Stream (Jowy) gave me this quest while playing online. Considering I still haven't seen this guy pop up in the forest I'm very grateful so I can record it xD
He is definitely more aggressive than the regular Yian Kut-Ku but not as much as Garuga, thats for sure!
Also I guess this is a good time to talk about this feature of the Forest. So after doing Forest quests Offline you have a chance of getting a "Guild Quest" that happens in the forest against certain monsters, you can save those quests and send them to the Guild Hall to do them Online with others (or solo if you want) and you can level up those quests by beating them (max level is 99). Leveling up gives you better chance at rare rewards like better excavation armor/weapons, Hard and True Armor Spheres for armor and rare charms as well BUT the monster itself will get stronger as well.
A Level 99 Monster is probably the equivalent of G-rank for this game... considering monsters can kill you in 1 or 2 hits even if you have end-game armor.
Since I just got this quest at lv 41, this Blue Yian Kut-Ku could deal insane damage if I were to grind up this quest all the way to 99.
This is a really interesting feature, but it does make the game kinda grind heavy if all you want these quests for is to get True Armor Spheres or the rarest charms (since high level quests are the only way to get them)
Oh and as previously mentioned you can send other people these quests. But there is a catch, lets say Jowy had this quest up to... lv 60 when he send it to me, I get the quest at the initial level he originally got the quest (which in this case is 41) which makes it so people don't get lv 99 quests without doing any work lol (unless they hack...)
