A Bear's Guide To: Hunting Episode 6 - He Gyped Me!
May 5, 2013
After last episode's triumphant defeat of the Khezu, we take on our first 3* quest against the poisonous Gypceros! A fatter, rubbery version of its cousin the Yian Kut-Ku, and yet still just as fast somehow, the Gypceros is a fairly easy fight. Just remember to bring something to guard with, or you'll be seeing stars! ;)
And here's the list of things that I forgot to mention THIS episode! ;)
1. If you are going to capture the Gypceros, you can't use a Shock Trap as his rubbery hide doesn't conduct the electricity.
2. The recipe for an Antidote is... Antidote Herb + Blue Mushroom. (Antidote Herbs can be brought from the Old Lady for 10z a piece and then can be grown in the Pokke Farm, and Blue Mushrooms can be collected from the mushroom tree easily. Or you can buy them for 60z a pop at the store. Your choice :)) Do not use a catalyst, they're used for FAR more important devices ;)
3. Gypceros can sometimes play dead, falling as though it has died. On this quest it's fairly easy to tell when he's doing it because the victory music doesn't start but on other quests it can be annoying. When you get too close it will flail really bad, and deal massive damage to you so stay away from the front. It's the perfect time to charge for you fellow greatsword users as long as you stay a safe distance behind him. (You can carve from him once when it plays dead but you will get thrown a few miles in return! :P)
4. And finally, if you liked this video then comment, like and even subscribe! (if you feel so inclined ;)) And if there is something I need to work on then I would definitely like to know so please let me know! :D
