Dreadqueen Rathian are Deviants of Rathian introduced in Monster Hunter Generations.

MHGen-Dreadqueen Rathian Render 001

Dreadqueen Rathian tend to be bigger than a normal Rathian, and have a purple tint on their scales, as if poison had been seeping through all parts of their body. Poison can be seen secreting from a Dreadqueen's tail whenever she attacks with it.

Dreadqueen Rathian has the same movesets as their relatives, but with a few new ones of their own. They often use their poisonous tails to attack hunters which can contain either poison, noxious poison, or deadly poison. Also, Dreadqueen Rathian are capable of combing a flame bite and poisonous tail attack to make a deadly combo.

When sometimes in Rage Mode, they will fly high in the air to later land on the ground to fling poison at hunters.

In MHX, or MH Gen, whenever they use their poisonous tails Dreadqueen Rathian will leave poisonous spikes on the ground from their tails to get unfortunate hunters to step on it.

In MHXX, Dreadqueen Rathian cannot produce poisonous spikes on the ground and have poisonous liquid leaving their tails. Instead they leave poisonous clouds when swinging their tails.

Dreadqueen Rathian are truly dangerous monsters and a lot more lethal than a normal Rathian. Hunters are required to have a special permit in order to hunt them.

Dreadqueen Rathian inhabit almost any environment like their pre-evolved relative, Rathian.
