The Gorge (峡谷) is a new area being introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier Version 4.0. Its existence was revealed on November 14th, 2008.

The Desert Canyons feature several dry, wide open areas with sparse cacti, and caves featuring underground lakes. So far, five boss monsters inhabiting this area have been revealed: Orange Espinas, Rajang, Tigrex, Pariapuria, and Berukyurosu.
