The Attack Power added is either 3,5 or 10 of pure Attack Power, which is multiplied by the Weapon Class Multiplier and added to the total Attack Power.

The follow are the Weapon Class Multiplier:

Great Sword/Long Sword - 4.8

Sword&Shield/Dual Swords - 1.4

Hammer/Hunting Horn - 5.2

Lance/Gunlance - 2.3

Light&Heavy Bowgun/Bow - 1.2

Example: The Hunter is using a Great Sword with Attack Up (Large), so 4.8 x 20 = 96.0 Attack Power added, all decimals are dropped. The end result is that the total Attack Power will increase by 96.

PierceS Add It enables the ammo type to the bowgun that could not have been previously used. The amount of ammo available from the added skill varies from bowgun to bowgun. The skill does not affect bows. PierceS LV1 Add Pierce LV 1 is enabled. PierceS All LV Ad Pierce LV 1, 2, and 3 are enabled.

Clust Add It enables the ammo type to the bowgun that could not have been previously used. The amount of ammo available from the added skill varies from bowgun to bowgun. The skill does not affect bows. ClustS LV1 Add Clust LV 1 is enabled. ClustS All LV Ad Clust LV 1, 2, and 3 are enabled.

Auto
Reload

Auto Reload allows bowguns to use an ammo type until the ammo is depleted, the Hunter has loaded a different type of ammo or current ammo has rapidfire. For bows, vials will be applied automatically. Also for bowguns, it brings the recoil to strong and can not be negated by any recoil reduction. Auto Reload No reload until next ammo type.
Reload The skill increases or decreases the reload speed of the bowgun. It also increases the speed of vials being equipped to the bow. Reload Speed -2 Reload speed decreases by 2. Reload Speed -1 Reload speed decreases by 1. Reload Speed +1 Reload speed increases by 1. Reload Speed +2 Reload speed increases by 2. Reload Speed +3 Reload speed increases by 3.
Recoil The skill increases or decreases the recoil on the bowgun. It does not affect bows. Recoil Inc +2 Recoil from bowgun increases by 2. Recoil Inc +1 Recoil from bowgun increases by 1. Recoil Reduct +1 Recoil from bowgun reduced by 2. Recoil Reduct +2 Recoil from bowgun reduced by 4.
Capacity The skill adds an additional bullet slot to the available ammo type to the bowgun. For bows, one charge level is added, to a maximum of 4. Load Up +1 to available ammo/bow charge level
Precision The skill affects the shots from bowguns and bows. Target Range Up Being off-center increases. Target Range Down Being off-center decreases.

General System[]

Expert Reckless Abandon: Each Reckless Abandon level adds or subtracts Affinity, in 10% increments. For weapons with 0-25% affinity, the skill will add an extra 5% at blue sharpness, and 10% at white or purple sharpness. -1 Reckless Abandon Decreases affinity percentage by -10%. Reckless Abandon+1 Increases affinity percentage by +10%. Reckless Abandon+2 Increases affinity percentage by +20%. Reckless Abandon+3 Increases affinity percentage by +30%.
Special Attack The skill increases the numerical number displayed on the weapon's status ailment, if available, by x1.125. Status ailments includes poison, paralysis, and sleep. Spc Atk Up Increases status ailments by x1.125.
Elemental Attack Increases the damage of Fire, Water, Ice, Thunder, and Dragon attacks. Elem Atk Up Increases elemental damage by x1.2
Guard Up Enables the ability to block previous attacks that could not be blocked, Ex: Gravios Beam, Fatalis Fireball, Congalala breath attack etc. Guard Inc Able to block all attacks.
HearProtct Provides immunity to screams, roars, etc. Additional Info: Following monsters require high grade earplugs: Khezu, Basarios, Gravios, Diablos, Monoblos, Tigrex, Lao Shan Lung, Fatalis, and Akantor. This skill will not prevent the knockback that several roars have. Earplug Immunity to small roars. High Grade Earplug Immunity to all roars.
Wind Press Provides immunity to Wind Press. Additional Info: Following monster require dragon wind breaker: Kushala Daora, Chameleos, Lunastra, and Teostra. High wind press: Rathalos, Rathian, Monoblos, Diablos, Tigrex, Lao-Shan Lung, and Fatalis. Low Wind Pres Immunity to small Wind Press. High Wind Pres Immunity to large Wind Press. Drg Wind Breaker Immunity to all Wind Press.
Gunnery Gunnery boosts the power of static/map defenses and gunlance shelling, depending heavily on the level obtained. Gunnery Master The damage of Ballista S, Cannon S, Gunlance Shelling and Wyvern Fire is increased by x1.1, Crag S increased by x1.5 Gunnery King The damage of Crag S is increased by x2, while Ballista S, Cannon S, Gunlance Shelling and Wyvern Fire are increased by x1.2. Wyvern Fire cooldown reduced from 120s to 90s

Torso Increase

Adds the same value of the skill points of the plate armor.

(NOTE: If a plate has +2 points of a skill, one Torso Inc will increase the value to +4. A second Torso Inc. armor piece will increase the value by +2, bringing the total to +6. It won't double the value to get +8 points)

Constitution

Worry Cuts Attack by 30% Increases defense.

BBQ Affects cooking meat on a BBQ Spit.

Comrade Guide Increases your Comrade's power (not shown), interest in quest, etc.

Horn Affects Flutes and Hunting Horns.

Flute Expert 50% chance to prevent flute breaking and adds 1 minute to all Hunting Horn songs.

Steady Hand

A combination of Normal S/Pierce S/Pellet S Up for bowguns, and Rapid/Pierce/Spread Shot Up for bows.(Only available through G-Rank White Fatalis armor) Straight & True: Has the effect of all shot bonuses.
Anti-Fire Dragon Gives Hunter an increase to Fire resistance and will not be harmed from terrain (i.e. lava/fire veil) (Only available through G-Rank Kushala Daora armor). Metallic Protection:

Terrain Damage Negate and Fire Resistance +10.

Anti- Chameleos Gives Hunter full immunity to all status ailments given by Chameleos, including Poison, Steal, and Fatigue (Only available through G-Rank Teostra or Lunastra armor). Fiery Protection:

Immune to Poison, Steal and Fatigue.

Anti-Daora Allows Hunter to not be affected by wind or be turned into a "snowman" (Only available through G-Rank Chameleos armor). Frosty Protection:

Snow Resistance and Dragon Wind Breaker.
